MultiScience - XXXVII. microCAD

International Multidisciplinary Scientific Conference


Date of the conference: 30-31. May 2024.

                      Venue: University of Miskolc



                The aim of the conference is to provide an opportunity to Hungarian and foreign researcher, specialist, and PhD students to present and discuss their research results in the accredited scientific fields of the University of Miskolc, as well as to build new professional and personal relationships. The special aim of the conference is to present and disseminate the research results achieved in the scientific workshops of the ongoing projects of the University of Miskolc.


                The conference will start with a Plenary Session at 10 a.m. on 30th May. The conference will continue its work in two focus areas and their respective professional areas.


Innovative processes in energy management

Professional fields: Novel and critical primary and secondary raw materials; Innovative solutions in raw materials exploration, mining and management; Environmental conscious processing of raw materials, energy management and sustainable technologies.; Modern methods in product design and manufacturing technologies; Management of sustainable production; Innovative design and optimisation solutions in production logistics; Digitalisation and simulation in modern production technologies; Properties and testing of modern materials; Modern design and manufacturing in chemical engineering; New achievements in Information Technology; AI.

Social and Health Innovations

Professional fields: Creative Region; Digitisation, Digital and Technological Innovation; Emerging Technologies and Law; Inclusivity / Inclusive Society, Age-friendly University, Interculturality and Aging, Cultural values and resources; Social innovation, Social Innovation for health and well-being; Social enterprises; Smart city, Novelties in Health Innovation, Society 5.0, Sustainability, Circular Economy, Social Impact Analysis, Education, Social Change, Language and Society, AI.


The conference program includes oral presentations (physical presence).

Deadline for uploading the papers: 15 May 2024.


Participation fee of the conference:           120 EUR, which includes the registration, the costs of publication and the costs
                      of the professional meeting after the plenary session.

                      Speakers can also apply for additional presentations, which will be charged a
                      registration fee of 50 EUR.


Papers of the conference will be published in the Journal of University of Miskolc (Multidisciplinary Sciences), which has ISSN number and DOI ID. Please upload the ready-for-print paper in an editable Word file on the website of the Journal:

During uploading, please mark as a comment: microCAD conference. The actual formal requirements of the paper can be found on the website of the journal.


Papers will be considered/accepted as a result of professional proofreading based on the electronically uploaded manuscript.

  • Uploading paper in the appropriate format on the homepage of the Journal


  • Transfer of the participation fee by 30 April 2024.
